Journey into the world of Disney ink
Disney's official TCG featuring reimagined versions of beloved characters. Simple rules make it perfect for families, while strategic depth keeps competitive players engaged. Beautiful artwork on every card.
Disney Lorcana is Disney's first original trading card game, featuring iconic Disney and Pixar characters reimagined as "glimmers" in the world of Lorcana. Elsa might be an ice queen, a spirit of winter, or a snow gear inventor - each version plays differently!
The game is designed to be family-friendly and easy to learn while offering strategic depth for competitive play. With stunning artwork and familiar characters, it's the perfect TCG for Disney fans of all ages.
Objective: Be the first player to collect 20 Lore.
Deck Requirements: 60 cards exactly. Maximum 4 copies of any card. Must use 1-2 ink colors only.
Setup: Shuffle your deck and draw 7 cards. Choose whether to mulligan (shuffle hand back and draw 7 again - once per game). Determine starting player randomly. First player doesn't draw on their first turn.
Inkwell: The unique resource system. Most cards can be put face-down into your inkwell to generate ink. Some cards are "uninkable" (have special border).
Each turn has 4 steps:
During your Play step, you can do actions in any order and as many times as you want (as long as you can pay costs).
Characters: Your main cards. Have ink cost, strength, willpower, and lore value. Can quest for lore or challenge other characters. Most have abilities.
Items: Permanent cards that stay in play. Provide ongoing benefits.
Actions: One-time effects. Play them, use effect, then discard.
Songs: Special actions that can be played cheaper by exerting a character with cost equal or greater.
The Six Ink Colors: Amber (healing), Amethyst (control), Emerald (draw), Ruby (aggro), Sapphire (card draw), Steel (big creatures). Each color has unique playstyle!
Card Versions: Many characters have multiple versions with different abilities and art.
Reach 20 Lore first!
Key Strategy: Balance questing for lore vs. keeping characters ready to challenge. "Rush" characters can quest on the turn they're played!
